Dear PM,
Blocking Ekta Yatra of BJP will be a politically incorrect step. Moderate Hindus will treat it as appeasement of separatist. Ekta Yatra will get more publicity if it is get blocked. Government of India and state government should allow 1,000 BJP workers to come to Lal Chawk to hoist Indian Flag on 26-Jan.
All such Yatras are just gimmick and is meant to get political brownie points which are ok. Every political party does it in one form or other. If there is no cohesion between government and opposition, it will benefit separatist group only.
Kashmir problem is too complex to be solved by Ekta Yatra. We have to live with it unless Pakistan changes its policy on Kashmir or we undertake massive development work to eliminate separatist mentality from people of J&K.
I think all parties should hoist Indian flag all over J&K on Republic day and send a strong message to separatists that J&K is integral part of India.
