Fight Corruption to Fight Terrorism

16-Dec-2008
Dear PM,

Suddenly it has become fashionable among congress leaders to say 'sorry' about Mumbai terror attack or accept responsibility or calling this monumental failure as 'systematic' or you apologising to the nation. I would like to see Mr. Shivraj Patil, Mr Deshmukh and you behind the bar for criminal negligence? Your apology has no meaning.

You said India is not weak. Of course India is not weak. But our PM is weak. You cannot take any decision without approval of Mrs Sonia Gandhi. It is disgusting.

You promised to revamp our security system. After four and half years you realized that. Were you sleeping? Mr. Karan Thapar told Mr Kapil Sibal in Devil's Advocate that government spent 12,000 crore to modernize security system. Where that money has gone? You announced NSG hub in all metro cities. It is almost 15 days since your announcement. Did you send the troops?

Government is planning to retire 'incapable Babus'. Who will judge these babus - politicians or independent body?

You have been talking about federal agency for quite sometime. It is good idea. But can it work without political interference. We have CBI and RAW under direct control of government of India. They fail to crack high profile cases like Bofors or fodder scam or taj corrodor and many others because of political influence.

Government is also considering tougher anti terror law like POTA. But I have deep reservation about such law which has great potential of gross misuse by politicians. I think any arrest using such law should be approved by independent body.

Mr Tata heavily criticised government of Maharashtra the manner in which the Mumbai terror attacks had been handled. Mr. Tata said: 'There should be leadership in knowing what to do. The fire department didn't know what to do, the commandos came too late, police were not equipped to engage'. I believe these charges are good enough to arrest Mr. Deshmukh for his utter failure to protect people of Mumbai.

Do you know Mr. PM the country where voter's id can be bought for rs 100 or passport can be obtained for rs 200 do you think you can stop terrorism? FIGHT CORRUPTION TO FIGHT TERRORISM.

It has been proven time and again that our politicians are not only incompetent but also evil in nature. There are hundreds of irrefutable evidences how politicians completely destroyed and crippled our security system in last 20 years.

Mr. PM may I remind you that so far we haven't seen any concrete action from Pakistan. You are only able to garner world sympathy to this terror attack. Government of India is already showing sign of weakness under pressure from US when Mr Pranab Mukherjee announced 'War is not an option'. I am not asking to declare war against Pakistan. But we have to keep that option open.

Bhagalpur Train Accident

02-Dec-2006
Dear PM,

You expressed your grief over Bhagalpur train accident. Thank you very much. You have done your job. Can you please answer two simple questions?

Where is the professional rescue team? Whenever a disaster strikes it is always same old scene – local people doing the rescue operation with bare hands. If we could save even one life by timely mobilizing
all the resources, I would consider it as a great achievement. I do not understand what stops us in creating national emergency units all over India in the line with similar units that we see in developed countries. It is not so much of money but lack of vision that limits us forming a professional team who can rush to in any kind of emergency be it natural calamity or terrorist attack or accidents or to any event that requires immediate rescue operation.

When will the train journey be safe in India? Every year we are having major accidents. But we are not doing anything to eliminate the root causes. I do not think to put all the recommended safety measures in place require enough funds which cannot be budgeted for. Again it comes down to vision and efficiency of the people who are in charge of the ministry.

Sir we have one thousand problems in our country and all the problems are priority ONE. We expect an efficient prime minister should have enough bandwidth to attack all of them simultaneously.
