Dear Prime Minister
Can you pl. explain the above table? When Oil price was $80/barrel, there was no subsidy either in kerosene or LPG or Diesel or Petrol and total tax gain was Rs 91,000 crore. However with $130/barrel tax gain for kerosene, LPG and diesel is converted to subsidy and net subsidy is only rs 25,000 crore.
Then why we are told that net subsidy on petroleum product is Rs 225,000 crore when actual subsidy is just Rs 25,000 crore?
With new price structure would you please tell the nation how much tax gain/subsidy on each of the four petroleum products?
